Overview

Kûyâ Mâqa Kîchyà was founded durring the early 13th century in summer of the year 1238, by Bē̄ń̄sh Cúchī̄s 'Cosmicola Dixon' Séó̄rmē Sé̄kīb Mërmpf̄ Zënkdo. The establishment of Kûyâ Mâqa Kîchyà was only bairly constructed. The sheer number of problems with its founding were enough to make several of the backers funding Kûyâ Mâqa Kîchyà 's construction back out of the project. Bē̄ń̄sh Cúchī̄s 'Cosmicola Dixon' Séó̄rmē Sé̄kīb Mërmpf̄ Zënkdo pushed on reguardles, and Kûyâ Mâqa Kîchyà was finished, but starts off as a terible place to live.

Kûyâ Mâqa Kîchyà was built using the conventions of Wareneese durring the early 13th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Kûyâ Mâqa Kîchyà is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.

Kûyâ Mâqa Kîchyà is buildings are arranged arrounded a highly ordered system of premissive flagstone streets which form triangular paterns, allowing the incides of the octagons to be common grounds for the buildings on the edges, be it for parkland, yardspace, plazas, or markets. The town sits behind a stone-renforced palisade wall, with stone gatehouses and timber drawbridges for their trench. Astonishigly, the would-be-castle fortifications are in pristine condishion, as if they had just been finished before you laied eyes upon them.

A look around Kûyâ Mâqa Kîchyà is like a look into a broken heart which long ago fell to corruption. There is no planning, no organization. Everyone here clearly goes about their own thing with little thought to anyone around them who isn’t selling something they need… unless of course, they would be an easy target for some robbery. The town has truly fallen to evil.

Cultural Notes

Kûyâ Mâqa Kîchyà 's chapel was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is characterized by dynamic designs and complex architectural plan forms; intended to heighten feelings of motion and sensuality, and frequently based on the oval. It made extensive and extreme use of: Grandeur, Contrast, Curves and twists, Rich surface treatments, Gilded statuary, Bright colors, Vividly painted ceilings, Fragmented or deliberately incomplete elements, Large-scale frescoes, Dramatic central projections on an external facade, the use of plaster, stucco, or marble finishing, Illusory effects such as trompe l’oeil, and pear-shaped domes. While beloved by the nobility, the common folk tended to despise the style due to the massive consumption of resources required for even a small building constructed in this style.

In Kûyâ Mâqa Kîchyà every night at precisely midnight every structure in town is engulfed by sailors fire until the end of the witching hour.
